Formerly known as Downplay, the Instant It Ends and now as A Bend to Fall, they are a 4 piece band currently comprised of 4 members: andrew, dave, danin and alvin. After 3 years of evolution, their sound has grown to include an eclectic range of influences which dissolve into a backbone of hardcore with the pop and melodic sensibilities of indie rock.

Goodnight Glory

Bringing experience from the their former bands to the table, this record displays the amount of different influences this band ranges in, and in the end tieing it all together with non-stop rock action. The melodies progress with melancholy as the chorus impact you with screams and cries of desperation. Recorded by Josh Gleason at Beanpie Recording, this cd has amazing sound for being D.I.Y. recorded, excellent job on getting the guitars to sound deep and rich without having to drown out the vocals. The one thing I like about these songs the best is it can fill that gap you get after leaving a really great show and still wanting to be rocked.

"Singularity" compiliation

Basically the last song the band wrote under the name "Downplay" before Turtle left. A few months later they changed their name to the Instant It Ends after picking up another bassist. This song pretty much is a culmination of what Downplay succeeded in pushing the pop-punk envelope through a emo mailbox.
